Welcome to BCSD - Passport to Web 2.0 wiki!

You should have received the invite to join this wiki in order to be able to be an editor. The activities in Module 6 will give you an opportunity to post a video link to a wiki and to embed a wiki and a chance to collaborate with your colleagues to format and organize the videos.

HOW TO Add info and videos to this wiki:

1. If you have not worked with a wiki, you just need to click on the EDIT tab on the upper right of the "Video Links Activity" page.
2. The formatting toolbar is at the top. It works very much like a word processor formatting toolbar.
3. To add a hyperlink, copy the link to the video, key in the title of the video on this wiki, highlight the title, then click on the insert link icon (looks like a chain) and then choose External link, paste the URL in the box and click ADD LINK. Check the link to be sure if works.
4. To embed a video in this wiki on the "Embedded Videos Activity" page- click on the EMBED WIDGET icon (looks like a blue TV). Click on the type of video and it will explain how to embed the video.
5. You must click on SAVE for the information to post to the wiki.
6. Click on the NOTIFY ME - to receive notification on changes made in this wiki. "Looking for changes to all the pages in this wiki? Visit the wiki-wide notification page." This will let you see how you could track changes on a wiki created by your students.
